Those of us fortunate enough to live close to the great
outdoors, and willing to invade that world out there, see things and have experiences which simply don't happen in "civilization".
This page is about such a sighting and experience.
On July 4, 2009, I trekked a trail about 8.5 miles - one way, and returned to my car.
On the return trip, I spotted this "spectacle" sitting on a rock. I first thought was, "What a picture of a Christian
in the world." I proceeded to doff my pack, find me a comfortable seat, sat down and comtemplated this "spectacle"
for about 45 minutes.
Five weeks later, on August 11, I retraced my steps and photographed the "spectacle".
HERE'S WHAT I SAW.
